Officials from the Port of Los Angeles and Indonesia Port Corporation (IPC) PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on December 12, 2019 to promote cooperation and information sharing on issues of business and trade, environmental improvements, infrastructure development, and digital supply chain efficiency, including the Port Optimizer pilot program.

Consul General Saud P. Krisnawan, Consulate General of Republic of Indonesia in Los Angeles, Elvyn G. Masassya, President Director of the Indonesia Port Corporation, and representing the Port of Los Angeles: Executive Director Eugene D. Seroka, and Harbor Commissioner Lucia Moreno-Linares, display the signed MOU focused on collaboration of best practices, creating a strong bond between the two ports.
