Italian Tall Ship Visit: Amerigo Vespucci
Wednesday, July 3-Monday, July 8
The public will have the unique opportunity to see the Italian tall ship, Amerigo Vespucci, during its stop at the Port of Los Angeles as part of a worldwide tour. Book your tour online to come aboard, take souvenir photos and speak with crew members. The ship will be docked at Berth 46 with dockside activities each day. Parking available on site.
74th Annual July 4th Spectacular
Saturday, July 6
The Port of Los Angeles is a proud sponsor of the "John Olguin Fireworks Spectacular," which has been a 4th of July tradition in San Pedro for the past 74 years. This year, no fireworks will be displayed on the July 4. Instead, event organizers are planning an environmentally friendly "Spectacular Drone Light Show" on Saturday, July 6 over Cabrillo Beach.

Spirit of '45 Aboard SS Lane Victory
Sunday, Aug. 11, 2:30-7:30 p.m.
Experience living history in the Port of Los Angeles with the Lane Victory Maritime Center! Commemorate the end of World War II and celebrate the indomitable spirit of America's Greatest Generation, with live music, classic car, food and retail vendors. Dressing in 1940s-era attire is encouraged.

San Pedro Pride 2024
Saturday, August 24, 3-9 p.m.
The Port of Los Angeles is proud to sponsor San Pedro Pride 2024 on the San Pedro Promenade, hosted by Bridge Cities Alliance. Celebrating diversity and fostering a sense of community, this year’s theme is “The Tides of Pride,” symbolizing collective strength and resilience, acceptance, and equality.

Free Harbor Tours of the Port of Los Angeles
Saturday, Sept. 14, 10-3 p.m.
Explore the amazing Port of Los Angeles and its many landmarks and attractions with a free boat tour of Los Angeles Harbor. Tours will depart from two locations: Wilmington Waterfront Promenade near Banning’s Landing Community Center and San Pedro Downtown Harbor near the Los Angeles Maritime Museum.
Port of Los Angeles Marine Flare Collection Event (2024)
Saturday, Oct. 26, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The Port of Los Angeles will host a collection event to safely dispose of marine flares at Cabrillo Way Marina, 2293 Miner St., Lot G in San Pedro. While this event is free and open to the public, participants must show proof of residence, business, or vessel registered in Los Angeles County. Registration required.
