The West Coast gateway for Chilean fruit, SSA Marine has operated the Port of Los Angeles terminal since 1988, handling fruit from Chile and other agricultural products. Located in the Port of Los Angeles’ Outer Harbor, the terminal primarily handles perishable refrigerated and frozen cargos from Chile and New Zealand. SSA Marine and the Port of Los Angeles have developed this site to cater to the needs of fruit importers who source grapes and stone fruit from Chile, complementary to domestic markets.
