Fish Harbor Facility Served as Star-Kist Processing Plant During
the Middle of the Century
SAN PEDRO, Calif. – March 11, 2022 – The Port of Los Angeles is soliciting Requests for Expressions of Interests (RFEOI) for a possible lease agreement for the former Star-Kist Processing Plant located at 1050 Ways Street on Terminal Island.
The approximate 8.63-acre site contains a large warehouse with a building footprint (ground floor) of approximately 267,720 square feet and a 38,165 square foot parking area. Submissions received from this RFEOI are an important factor in determining next steps for the property.
