Marisa Katnich is the Director of Cargo and Industrial Real Estate for the Port of Los Angeles, the nation’s leading container port and 7500-acre seaport complex with more than 200 leaseholders.

In this role, Katnich oversees all Port cargo-handling (automobile, breakbulk, container, dry bulk, liquid bulk, maritime support, and warehouse) facilities that generate approximately $400 million in annual revenue, including lease negotiations, property and asset management, land use, and land acquisitions and dispositions.

Appointed to her current position in September 2019, Katnich rejoined the Port after previously serving as the Director of Strategic Commercial Management at Los Angeles World Airports, where she managed a large-scale acquisition and relocation program supporting landside development at Los Angeles International Airport.

A San Pedro native, Katnich holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach. She is an active member of the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, Women's International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) and serves as a board member for the YWCA of the Harbor Area & South Bay.
