APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE FOR PORT OF LOS ANGELES FY 2024/25 COMMUNITY INVESTMENT GRANT PROGRAM
Virtual Information Workshop April 10; Application Deadline is May 6
SAN PEDRO, Calif. – March 4, 2024 – The Port of Los Angeles has started the application process for its FY 2024/25 Community Investment Grant Program. Since the program began in 2014, the program has awarded nearly $11 million in grants to local non-profit organizations in support of events, programs and projects that benefit the Los Angeles Harbor community.
Interested 501(c)(3) organizations can apply for either a large grant (more than $100,000) or general grant (under $100,000). Programs and initiatives considered must focus on Port goals related to local maritime workforce development, the environment and sustainability, public safety and security, and the LA Waterfront.

Applications are due by 4 p.m. on Monday, May 6. The grant application and how to apply is now available on the Port’s website here.
A committee comprised of Port, City and community representatives will review all grant applications. Funds for this grant pilot program come from Port revenues, which are non-tax supported.
