Public Hearing on Proposed Bond Refinancing

 
Monday, August 5, 10 a.m.
 
The Port of Los Angeles will hold a public hearing in the Board Hearing Room of the Port Administration Building in San Pedro regarding a proposed bond refinancing. The public may comment on this refinancing as it relates to various seaport, dock and wharf capital facilities projects located within the Port of Los Angeles. Written statements not presented in person at the hearing should be received by the Harbor Department on or before 10 a.m. on Monday, August 5.

Experience living history in the Port of Los Angeles with the Lane Victory Maritime Center! Commemorate the end of World War II and celebrate the indomitable spirit of America's Greatest Generation, with live music, classic car, food and retail vendors. Dressing in 1940s-era attire is encouraged.

Celebrate Phineas Banning's birthday and the Friends of Banning Museum’s 50th anniversary. In recognition of this momentous anniversary, we’re going to turn the clock back and celebrate 1970s style! Come get your groove on as DJ Quatre Cinq will be spinning the many hits from the decade, from disco to rock. It’s going to be a blast–don’t miss it!
San Pedro Pride

The Port of Los Angeles is proud to sponsor San Pedro Pride 2024 on the San Pedro Promenade, hosted by Bridge Cities Alliance. Celebrating diversity and fostering a sense of community, this year’s theme is “The Tides of Pride,” symbolizing collective strength and resilience, acceptance, and equality.

Free Boat Tours

Free Boat Tours of the Port of Los Angeles

 
Saturday, Sept. 14, 10-3 p.m.
 
Explore the amazing Port of Los Angeles and its many landmarks and attractions with a free boat tour of Los Angeles Harbor. Tours will depart from two locations: Wilmington Waterfront Promenade near Banning’s Landing Community Center and San Pedro Downtown Harbor near the Los Angeles Maritime Museum.

The Port of Los Angeles will host a collection event to safely dispose of marine flares at Cabrillo Way Marina, 2293 Miner St., Lot G in San Pedro. While this event is free and open to the public, participants must show proof of residence, business, or vessel registered in Los Angeles County. Registration required.
