About Harbor Commission Meetings
Regular meetings of the Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners are scheduled twice monthly on Thursdays at 10 a.m. at Banning's Landing Community Center, located at 100 E. Water Street in Wilmington, until further notice. Any change in time or location to a meeting shown on the 2024 Board Meeting Schedule, 2025 Board Meeting Schedule, or any meetings added to this schedule, may be designated as special meetings.
Agendas for both upcoming and archived (past) meetings are posted below. If the agenda for the next meeting is not yet available, it will be posted below in accordance with The Brown Act at least 72 hours prior to a regular meeting or 24 hours prior to a special meeting. Agendas are subject to revision in accordance with The Brown Act. In the event the agenda is revised prior to the meeting, the revised agenda will be posted below.
A quorum of three of five Commissioners is required to transact business and three Aye votes are required to carry a motion. Commission actions, except actions which are subject to appeal or review by the Council pursuant to other provisions of the Charter, ordinance or other applicable law, are not final until the expiration of the next five meeting days of the City Council during which the Council has convened in regular session. If the Council asserts jurisdiction during this five meeting day period the Council has 21 calendar days thereafter in which to act on the matter.
